We Connect on the Phone
We have a FREE 15 minute phone consult where you tell me what your concerns are, and get to ask me whatever you want. I’ll probably ask you a bunch of questions also to help me get a good idea of what you are going through and determine your best options. We will decide if I’m a good match for you or try to make a referral to someone better suited for your needs.
We Schedule an Appointment
There is NO COMMITMENT to schedule an appointment during our initial conversation. Whenever you are ready, we will find a time that works for both of us so we can get the process started.
We Work Together
My approach to therapy is active and focused so we will not spend 2 sessions doing intake where we just get to know each other. Instead, we start right away to establish a working relationship and explore the underlying dynamics of what has been going on. Often clients say that they begin to feel progress and relief within the first few sessions.
We Keep Track of Progress
The lasting change that most people seek occurs when they get to know themselves at a deeper level- connecting the dots between their past and present and building bridges between themselves and others. While the process of therapy is ongoing, we will periodically evaluate your progress to ensure you are satisfied with the results.
